Student Printing Policy (Longmeadow and East Longmeadow Campus)

Modified on: Fri, Sep 4, 2020 at 2:45 PM

On the Longmeadow and East Longmeadow campuses, students are able to release print jobs, photocopy and scan documents to email using one of the many available multifunction devices. Multifunction printing devices are located in the following University facilities: Hatch Library, Blake Student Center, D’Amour Hall, Bashevkin Academic Center for Excellence, Carr Hall, Elliott Hall and the Ryan Center.

Students are granted 1,000 black and white print or copy pages (equivalent to $100) as part of their tuition charge each academic year (which for this purpose begins July 1st and ends June 30).  For all currently enrolled students, each page in excess of the 1,000-page maximum will be charged to the student at 10 cents per page. The student’s current balances, both Bay Path granted and voluntary as well as their print history can also be viewed on the Papercut website (print.baypath.edu). To print/copy in excess of the 1,000 free pages, students must add print dollars to their Bay Path University ID. Instructions can be found here:

University granted funds do not carry over to the new academic year. Voluntary print dollars may be added at any time by a student and may be refunded only upon withdrawal or graduation from the University, and only if all other financial obligations are satisfied.

Our goal is to provide a reasonable amount of free printing while being mindful of our impact on the environment by conserving paper and printer use.
